More Than Burnt Out! Vacation Time!
Happy Hump Day my sweet followers! I have spent the past two days baking my little booty off in the kitchen: three different types of cookies in two nights… 8 dozen cookies in 80-90 degree weather. More sweat went into the cookies than blood and tears and I feel I’ve created an Army of Cookies. True Fact: If Bruce Campbell was actually given the option of attaching the chainsaw or an endless supply of my home-baked goods to his arm… he would have chosen the tastier option. Just sayin’… he would have. Nobody can hurt a man with a cookie-arm that shoots cupcakes (I feel a photoshop opportunity coming on).
Anyway… (cue drum roll)… The lucky cookies that have been chosen for my trip to Maine are:
- Peanut Butter w/ traditional sugared fork marks
- Oatmeal-raisin chocolate chip walnut explosion!!!
- Chocolate crinkle… yes… with the confectioners sugar
Upon my return, I’ll post the recipes as well as images of them being devoured by me and my co-pilot (on the way there) and my family (once we arrive… hopefully with cookies leftover to share).
Either way… More Than Burnt Toast is going on a much needed vacation from the day job but will be back in full force sometime next week!
